Product Description

-

Midi skirts are having a fashion moment. Actually, more like a fashion movement. Ultra flattering to every figure, we have a good feeling this trend is here to stay.

The Lovers Sun midi skirt is all about the lace. No tulle. Sleek, slimming and looks amazing with everything from crop tees, long sleeves, vest and cardigans. In other words its styling possibilities are endless. We've added a leg slit as well as a liner to keep you covered, but it ends at your mid thighs to reveal how skinsational your legs are. As part of Billabong Surf Daze collection, this retro inspired piece takes on a bohemian spirit and a gypsy state of mind, making it a go-to for all your summer hook ups.

About Billabong

+

Billabong was founded on Australia's Gold Coast in 1973 by surfer and surfboard shaper Gordon Merchant and his then partner, Rena. Those early days were rather inauspicious, with the pair designing boardshorts at home, cutting them out on the kitchen table and then carting the finished product around to the local surf shop to sell.

The business found immediate traction, with surfers drawn to the superior functionality of the Billabong boardshorts. They were also far more durable courtesy of the unique triple-stitching technique developed by Gordon.

The next step for the fledgling brand was to introduce the better local surfers to Billabong and incorporate them in the marketing of the brand. Company-sponsored contests and special events would later follow.

By the 1980s, Billabong had firmly established its place in Australian surf culture and was ready for international expansion.

Today, Billabong is a global brand with a portfolio that includes Von Zipper, Element, Honolua Surf Company, Kustom, Palmers Surf, Xcel, Tigerlily and Sector 9.

The name "billabong" is derived from the Wiradjuri word "bilabaŋ" that refers to a "creek that runs only during the rainy season".
